The way people actually pay, where they are.
In a lot of markets the dominant payment method is not a card and never was. Banky carries the local ones — Pix and Boleto in Brazil, Pago Efectivo in Peru — on the same integration as everything else.
Pix — Brazil
Brazil's instant payment scheme, and now the way most Brazilians pay for most things. A checkout in Brazil without Pix is a checkout most of the market will leave.
Boleto — Brazil
A boleto is generated for your customer to pay at a bank, in an app, or over a counter. It reaches the large share of buyers who are not paying online with a card at all.
Pago Efectivo — Peru
Bank and cash variants both. The cash one matters most: it serves customers who have no card and no online banking, and who otherwise cannot buy from you at any price.
What it includes
- Enabled per country
- Each method is switched on for the markets it belongs to, so nobody is offered a method that does not work where they live.
- Cash as a real option
- Pago Efectivo Cash settles a payment for a customer who never touches a card or an online banking session.
- Same integration, same account
- A local method is not a separate provider, a separate contract or a separate reconciliation. It is a method you enable.
The list above is what is live. It is also short, and it should be read as a statement about which markets Banky has built for rather than a claim about the whole world.
